Lower Garden I

The essential difference between this garden and the traditional carmen of Granada lies, among other things, in a limited use of plant species and a voluntarily reduced use of flowers and colors. The vegetation is always guided by the structure or architectural line, whether it is a portico, pergola or gazebo. A small circular temple marks another place of access or exit of the subway gallery, at the same time that marks the biggest opening in the perimeter wall of the carmen as a splendid viewpoint over the city.
